Principles

It just works.

Borrowed from Apple. An app should do its job the moment it launches. The defaults are right, and nothing needs a manual.

Enough.

Borrowed from MUJI. Each app does one thing and stops there. Features most people would never touch are left out.

Design as little as possible.

Instead of inventing a look, the apps follow macOS's own system design as closely as they can, so nothing feels foreign on your Mac.

Highlights

Small and light.

Each app is around 6 MB and usually uses less than 30 MB of memory, so you can keep several in the menu bar without slowing your Mac down.

Open source.

The source code of every app is on GitHub, so anyone can see exactly what it does.

No tracking.

No usage data is collected, and there are no analytics or ads. The apps go online only when they need to, such as checking for updates.

Domus is Latin for home. It is a small collection of Mac utilities, each named after a part of a house.
